About Qigong

Qigong (sometimes spelt chi kung) helps to generate and store energy, and to transform stale energy.

Some methods which are still in use appear on silk scrolls over  2,000 yrs old while others are still evolving.

An older name is daoyin, meaning breathing & movement, or leading & guiding.

My classes are easy to find if you are having acupuncture at my Tunbridge Wells clinic - they are just across the car park.  They may include:

ba duan jin

8 Pieces of Brocade, or silk weaving exercises.
These are illustrated in scrolls from the mawangdui tombs dating back to around 200 BC

emei shan qigong

Developed on Mt Emei in SW China.

Balances and strengthens internal energy.

zhan zhuang
